- Student names and grade levels (for internal coordination only)

- Donation amounts and payment details (via secure third-party processors)

2. How We Use Your Information

- Share news about PTO events, meetings, and programs

- Coordinate volunteers for school and PTO activities

- Manage donation tracking and acknowledgments

- Maintain optional school directories (with consent)

- Thank families and communicate important updates

3. How We Protect Your Information

- Information is only accessed by authorized PTO board members and committee leaders

- We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your data

- We use trusted tools and vendors for secure communication and payments

4. When We Share Information

- With your permission (e.g., in a directory)

- With school administrators (for event coordination)

- With secure third-party services like email or payment platforms

- When legally required

5. School Directory Participation (Optional)

- If a PTO directory is created, youll have the chance to opt in and select what information (if any)you want included. Participation is always optional.

6. Photos and Media

- Photos taken at PTO events may be shared in newsletters, websites, or PTO-managed social

media. We follow school media release guidelines and will never post names without permission.

7. Your Rights & Choices

- Update or remove your personal info

- Unsubscribe from PTO communications

- Opt out of photo sharing

- Decline to be listed in any directories

8. Changes to This Policy

The Jack Anderson Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, families, staff, and community members. 

The PTO does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, family status, socioeconomic status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. 

This policy applies to all PTO activities, programs, meetings, events, leadership roles, volunteer opportunities, communications, and decisions. Participation in the PTO is open to all parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and community members associated with JACK ANDERSON Elementary School. 

The PTO is dedicated to fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and collaboration and expects all participants to uphold these values. Any behavior inconsistent with this policy may be addressed by the PTO Board in accordance with PTO bylaws and school or district guidelines.
